Toyota Philippines aims for 100% Renewable Energy, carbon neutrality by 2035, and sustainable practices in manufacturing

Automobile giants are now on the move for carbon neutrality and Toyota is making this shift to 100% renewable energy. Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) is now ready for that big shift plan towards Carbon Neutrality by 2035.

Through a Retail Supply Contract with Team (Philippines) Energy Corporation, TMP plans to source 90% of its electricity needs from green-backed sources, supplemented by on-site renewable energy.

TMP’s Santa Rosa plant is a manufacturing base for the Vios and Innova, as well as the future IMV 0 (Zero) or Next Generation Tamaraw.
