In a thrilling display of racing prowess, Honda Philippines, Inc., has made waves at the 16th Inside Racing Grand Prix (IRGP). Taking place at the Tarlac Circuit Hill from December 15 to 17, 2023, this year’s IRGP, themed “IRGPXVI: LEGENDS ARE FOREVER!” showcased the outstanding performances of HPI-sponsored riders Jakob Sablaya and Alfonsi Daquigan.

HPI’s Road to Championship Campaign

With its partnership with IRGP, it aligns its efforts and focuses on producing competitive racers in both domestic and international races. It resonates its presence to young racers and the racing community.

Young Talents Shine

The spotlight was on Jakob Sablaya, 18, representing the Honda Project M Koby Racing Team, who secured podium finishes in the MotoIR Grand Prix (3rd Place, CBR150R) and the Super Sports 300 Grand Prix (2nd Place, CBR300R). Meanwhile, 14-year-old Alfonsi Daquigan, under the Sharp Honda SCK Philippines Racing Team, clinched the Pole Position Award for the MotoIR Grand Prix using the CBR150R.

Versatile Achievements

Facing fierce competition, Sablaya showcased his versatility by achieving 4th Place in the Underbone Limited and 7th Place in the Underbone Open race categories, using the Supra GTR150.
