Following the Lakbay Gumande Rollout Briefing, the campaign timeline was finalized. The journey kicked off on August 7 with a series of meet-ups at Ana Maria Village and Centris. Lakbay Gumande Rollout Team (Marketing and Production, The Traction Masters, and the Brand Ambassadors) embarked on a full land trip to Sorsogon. The ambassadors rode their personal motorcycles, trusting their chosen Gumande Tires for a safe and smooth travel experience.
From Matnog Port, the team braved the sea, and the next day they were ready for another fun leg on land. Traversing the famous San Juanico Bridge en route to Tacloban City, the riders experienced firsthand the reliable performance and handling of their tires. Meanwhile, our team at Lifestyle On Wheels, alongside selected motoring media, flew directly to Tacloban City to converge with the caravan for the region’s official Gumande Tire Dealership Product Presentation.
Tacloban City Caravan Launch at ESE Automoto
The regional presentation was hosted by ESE Automoto, a premier automotive product and service provider in the highly urbanized center of Eastern Visayas (Region VIII). Formerly known as Biker Bay Maharlika, ESE Automoto is a well-known service center located along Maharlika Highway in Brgy. 92, Purok 2, Apitong, Tacloban City. They cater to both cars and motorcycles with a facility that offers modern equipment, upgraded parts, and comprehensive maintenance services. Local riders, suppliers, and dealers graced the presentation.
They witnessed how Gumande Tires delivers safety through quality and affordability, highlighting the three superior materials used in manufacturing. These reliable tires, produced in an advanced facility in China, were further demonstrated its perfomance through an action-packed stunt show by the Traction Masters and the firsthand testimonials from the brand ambassadors following their long-distance ride.
Ormoc City Caravan at the Biker Bay
The caravan then moved to another popular local hub and rider hangout: Biker Bay in Ormoc City. Located on War Veterans Ave, Biker Bay is a community landmark supporting the local riding culture by hosting brand events, custom builds, and rider gatherings. Gumande Tires Philippines partnered with Biker Bay for the Lakbay Gumande Ormoc Caravan Leg.
The dealership presentation was a full range of tire model showcase alongside a surprise giveaway hosted by the ambassadors and the inspiring ride experience stories from Tacloban to Ormoc. The Traction Masters once again thrilled the audience, executing high-skill maneuvers made safe by Gumande Tires. Selected attendees took home brand-new sets of tires, and a local group of ambassadors was named to represent the brand in the region.
Makina Motoshow Cebu & Regional Expansion
The Lakbay Gumande rollout continued from Ormoc City to Cebu City the following day for the Makina Motoshow, bringing the tires’ full potential to Visayas motorcycle enthusiasts. Brand ambassadors interacted with booth attendees, culminating in a raffle where three lucky riders won sets of Gumande Tires alongside other prizes.
Demonstrating its readiness for the demanding riding conditions of the region, the Lakbay Gumande Visayas Rollout continues at Moto-Prestige Corporation in Cebu for another dealership product presentation. This effort aims to further expand reach into Central and Southern Visayas, including Bais, Bacolod, and Iloilo.
