MANILA, Philippines — BSB Junrose is bringing Michelin commercial tires to Philippine fleet operators following its appointment as one of Michelin’s new importer-distributors in the country.
In this role, the company will serve commercial transportation and fleet customers. The appointment forms part of Michelin’s move from four to seven importer-distributors in the Philippines, creating more specialized channels for different vehicle and industrial applications.
The Michelin commercial tire range available through the new distributor will initially focus on specific vehicle applications in the Philippine market.
Built around the needs of working vehicles
Unlike privately owned cars, fleet vehicles operate against delivery schedules, route commitments and daily utilization targets. Tire selection must account for the vehicle’s application, operating conditions, load requirements and the need to limit avoidable downtime.
“BSB Junrose is strengthening its role in commercial mobility by supporting fleet operators in selected critical areas that contribute to vehicle reliability, uptime and operational efficiency,” said Ian Bangayan, President of BSB Junrose. “The addition of Michelin commercial tires expands that capability into another essential area of fleet operations.”
