inDrive assisted its partner drivers and the Sitio San Roque community in Quezon City in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Carina
inDrive, a global ride-hailing app has put its foot forward to assist its partner-driver in Sitio San Roque community in Quezon City. The aftermath of Super Typhoon Carina which recently stormed the Philippines strongly affected the livelihood of many Filipino families. Thus, inDrive initiated involvement by distributing financial aid to the community and implementing a flood assistance program to provide much-needed support.
Food packs to 39 active partner drivers who were affected by the typhoon were distributed. 278 drivers received food packs to help them cope with the challenges brought about by the disaster. The company emphasized its commitment to supporting its drivers, recognizing their vital role in the platform’s operations.
inDrive also helped the community by partnering with other groups to feed typhoon victims in Sitio San Roque. This event marked the company’s first local outreach since returning to the Philippines.
