Pugpog Bikers Highlands Cafe in Angat, Bulacan is a hidden gem that offers more than just breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It is a cafe that caters to bikers, hikers, and anyone who appreciates good food and a relaxing atmosphere.

The visit to this popular cafe is an enjoyable ride made possible by Royal Enfield Hunter 350. A perfect ride for a motorcycle enthusiast that needs both performance and everyday riding. Our ride impression of this bike is satisfying and enjoyable.

Upon arrival, We were immediately struck by the unique ambiance of the cafe. The interior is decorated with vintage bicycles and an al fresco setting. This adds a touch of nostalgia to the place. The outdoor seating area offers stunning views of the mountains and the surrounding nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The cafe serves a variety of dishes, from pastas, highlands meals, and rice platters. We had the opportunity to try their house pasta and the visitors favorite cakes and coffee. It was flavorful and satisfying, and paired well with the hot house coffee. Aside from the food and drinks, Pugpog Bikers Highlands Cafe also offers something interesting that is not common to cafes.

A prayer wall is very intriguing and makes us wonder what its purpose is. Ms. Cathy told us that visitors dedicate a prayer to their family and loved ones by writing it on a piece of paper inserted in the vial for a minimal fee. These payments were donated monthly to local residents who are in need.

Mr. Ian Manuel, General Manager of the cafe shared to us that Pugpog Bikers Highlands started its cafe concept during the pandemic where the majority of the residents were looking for a safe place to unwind and rekindle during these trying times. And to date, the cafe retained this concept and became popular to bikers and riders as well.

Overall, our visit to Pugpog Bikers Highlands Cafe was a memorable one. The combination of good food, stunning views, and a relaxing ambiance made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of biking, riding, and long driving. We would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Angat, Bulacan.
