Royal Enfield is a perfect ride for a motorcycle enthusiast that needs both performance and everyday riding

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a new addition to the Royal Enfield motorcycle lineup. Launched recently at the lifestyle mall of Ayala Circuit Makati. This bike is designed to appeal to a younger and more adventurous audience. And it is expected to be one of the most affordable motorcycles in the Royal Enfield range.

Our ride with this fascinating machine is short but sweet. We took it for a spin going to the heated scene of the racing track in Clark, Pampanga. Visited the summer get-a-way city of Tagaytay. And unwind in the famous bikers café in Bulacan that overlooks Pugpog river and the Sierra Madre Mountain Range. This is a perfect rider’s treat after a grueling ride on congested roads with trucks and dust. Let’s take a closer look at the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

Design and Styling

The Hunter 350 is a modern interpretation of a classic motorcycle. It sports a retro-modern design, which is a fusion of classic and modern styling. The bike has a bold and muscular stance, with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round headlight, and a flat seat. The minimalist design and attention to detail make it a head-turner on the roads.

Performance

The Hunter 350 is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox that offers a smooth and refined ride. The bike has a top speed of around 120 km/h, which is sufficient for city and highway riding.

Riding Experience

The Hunter 350 is a comfortable bike to ride even for the pillion ride. Thanks to its upright riding position, flat seat, and well-positioned foot-pegs. The bike has a relaxed and composed riding experience, with the engine delivering a smooth power. The suspension setup is also well-tuned, offering a comfortable ride over bumps and uneven surfaces. What this bike highlights is that even a short-legged rider can flawlessly ride this bike with ease.

Handling and Braking

The Hunter 350 is a nimble bike, which is easy to handle in city traffic and tight corners. The bike has a low center of gravity, which makes it stable at higher speeds. The braking performance is also good, with the front and rear disc brakes providing sufficient stopping power.
