MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION (MMC), Tokyo, Japan, revealed another cross-over ride with a sleek sporty SUV appearance that has been around in the market since the 90’s. This time it is designed with an attitude to stand-out – cross-over style. The restyled ECLIPSE CROSS is now better than ever with its improved comfort and driving confidence. It also has a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain model that will capture the select markets that are more into a sporty-sustainable ride taste.
A refreshed design, in and out, is what the ECLIPSE CROSS has to offer. It looks sleek, stable, upscale, and unique with its sleek sporty SUV appearance. The bold front bumper guard and light layout complement the dynamic look. The light-gray leather seats with black interior and silver accents add a more sporty feel and elegance.
A perfect balance of power and efficiency of the ride is boosted with its 1.5-liter MIVEC direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The PHEV variant, certainly not yet feasible in our country, boasts 1,500 watts of power from an onboard outlet.
The new MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS has been recognized as the Good Design Award in 2018 and the RJC Car of the Year in 2019. Hopefully, this radical vehicle will soon grace our shores and let Filipinos drive with an attitude.
