Marilaque Highway has always had its distinct magic for riders. The air is crisp, the fog hangs low over the Sierra Madre, and the collective hum of motorcycle engines seems like a soundtrack. On June 20, 2026, the famous rider’s twisties felt even more special. Several riders rolled up the asphalt for a singular destination: Pico de Pino. Spyder Philippines hosted its highly anticipated Father’s Day Treat: Dad’s Ride & Dine. This morning is dedicated to celebrating the pillars of both our families and our riding community. It wasn’t just an event, a powerful tribute to fatherhood, brotherhood, and the shared love for the open road. A Packed House at Pico de Pino is instantly pulling energy. Rows upon rows of motorcycles gleamed under the morning sun. With helmets from Spyder, MT, NEO, and Nomad, the camaraderie was enormous as seasoned riders, young enthusiasts, and actual fathers and sons parked side-by-side. Sharing nods of respect and enthusiastic greetings.

Spyder really rolled out the red carpet for its community:

  • The Ultimate Treat: Riders rocking Spyder, MT, NEO, or Nomad lids were treated to a completely free, hearty breakfast served to fuel up the early ride.
  • The Inclusive Vibe: No one was left behind. Riders sporting other helmet brands were welcomed with open arms. A generous 50% discount on their breakfast.
  • Gear & Promos: Partner brands and Spyder set up extensive display booths and exclusive promos. Everyone got a chance to upgrade their gear right there in the mountains.

“The ‘Ride and Dine’ event celebrated fatherhood and brotherhood the true biker way. It is held to celebrate the dads who taught us how to navigate the road ahead.” – Mark Chuidan, Spyder Philippines.

High Spirits, Raffles, and Community Vibes

The atmosphere felt less like a corporate marketing event inside the venue. It’s more like a massive family reunion where laughter resonates as Spyder’s Mark Chuidian and the rest of the team engage with the crowd. Between bites of classic Filipino breakfast fare and cups of hot coffee, riders participated in high-energy games and waited anxiously for the raffle draws. Lucky attendees walked away with premium gear and merchandise. I know attendees will agree with me that the real prize was the shared experience. Everyone present shared a common thread: a deep gratitude for the fathers and mentors who first handed us a throttle and taught us how to lean into life’s curves.

The Takeaway

As the morning wrapped up and riders geared back up for the descent down Marilaque, there was a collective sense of full tanks and full hearts. Spyder Philippines didn’t just hand out free breakfast. They reinforced the tight-knit fabric of the local motorcycle community. For the dads who ride, the sons and daughters who follow their tracks, and the brothers of the road. This year’s Ride & Dine was a beautiful reminder that the best journeys are always the ones shared, keeping us enjoying our Lifestyle On Wheels. Until the next sunrise ride!
