MDPPA Welcomes 2024 Leadership Igniting Progress

MDPPA’s 2024 Leadership Sets the Wheels in Motion for Innovation and Growth, “Moving forward beyond the current challenges”

In a resounding display of resilience and determination, the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc. (MDPPA) recently convened its induction ceremony for the 2024 Board of Directors and Committee Heads. Held at the Makati Diamond Residence Hotel in Salcedo Village, Makati City on February 19, 2024, the event heralded a return to face-to-face interaction after five years of virtual gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Central to the ceremony was the introduction of the new leadership team, led by Mr. Alexander A. Cumpas as President. With the support of seasoned experts taking up key roles like Vice President, Treasurer, and Auditor, the new leadership of MDPPA is bringing a ton of know-how and experience to the table. They’re all about steering the association toward a future full of fresh ideas and advancements.

During his speech, Mr. Cumpas didn’t hold back. He laid out MDPPA’s game plan for the year ahead, which includes diving headfirst into policy-making, keeping the pedal to the metal on road safety, ramping up publicity efforts, and getting involved in the Electric Vehicle scene. It’s all about making sure the motorcycle industry in the Philippines keeps moving forward in a positive direction.

The induction ceremony was quite the event. We had big shots from the government, top dogs from member companies, former presidents, and even folks from the motorcycle media all showing up. It was a real show of solidarity, everyone coming together to show that they’re ready to tackle challenges and seize growth opportunities. With this kind of unity and drive, MDPPA is primed to kickstart a whole new era of progress and prosperity in the Philippine motorcycle industry.
