Filipino Motorcycle Enthusiasts to Be Geared Up for Riding High Khardung La

An extraordinary expedition known as Riding High Khardung La will be undertaken by a team of passionate Filipino motorcycle enthusiasts. The thrilling adventure is scheduled to take place from August 20 to 31 in the breathtaking district of Ladakh, India.

The team, led by the esteemed Cebuano businessman-sportsman Zandro Fajardo, will be embarking on a 12-day journey that will take them through some of the most challenging roads and terrain in the world. The expedition, spanning a total distance of 1,300 kilometers, will test their mettle as they ascend to an astounding height of 10,380 feet above sea level.

Along the way, eight stunning Ladakh destinations will be explored by the team, including Leh, Khardung Ka, Oanging Tsk, and Tso Moriri. They will also have the opportunity to meet with local people and learn about the unique culture of the region.

It is believed by Fajardo that the team, which includes Renzo Villalon, Mark Mijares, Raymond Alo, Irwin Ramas – Uypitching, Recardo Cordova, Paolo Cabahug, Bernard Kapa Jr., and Barney So, will be able to conquer the challenges of the expedition and achieve their goal of riding to the top of Khardung La. He believes that the journey, not just the destination, is what truly matters.

“This is not just about riding a motorcycle,” he said. “This is about pushing ourselves to our limits and experiencing the beauty of Ladakh. It is about creating memories that will last a lifetime.”
