Garden inspired La Josephina Cafe is the new favorite al fresco destination in Amadeo, Cavite, among riders and bikers.

Hidden away in the spot of Amadeo, Cavite is the garden inspired La Josephina Cafe. It’s approximately 60 km away from central Manila. But if you plan to go for a breakfast ride passing Municipality of Tanauan, Taal lake, and Tagaytay City just like what we did, it’s just an approximate 100-km trip before reaching the cafe.

La Josephina Cafe best serves specialty coffee and pastries which are premium rich in ingredients. It is operated mainly by Jose Manuel Torrejon, the chief barista and co-owner.

The cafe is run in tandem with his mother, Josephina. Their coffee selection like their signature La Josephina Mocca is a must try. The food is made fresh and served hot when ordered.

Apart from the best food and specialty drinks, the cafe’s ambience is interestingly designed by the owners themselves. Parking is enough for bikers and riders but soon they will extend to the existing inner lot to accommodate more customers.

According to Ms. Josephina, she loves to eat good food and cook for her family. And at the same time, enjoyed it much especially during the pandemic. She discovers new dishes and reinvents them, keeping it all organic, fresh, and tasteful as well.

On the other hand, chef Jose continued conceptualizing specialty drinks and developed signature coffee flavors that are eventually put on the menu that customers now enjoy at La Josephina Cafe.

What’s best about dining at La Josephina Cafe is the owners are so approachable. We are even served a sampler dish for the upcoming menu that will be available soon.
