Chevron's Impact on Sea Turtle Cleanup in Batangas

Chevron Philippines Inc.(CPI) recently completed its 10th annual coastal cleanup in San Pascual, Batangas, reinforcing its commitment to environmental conservation. The drive focuses on a safer environment for Olive-Ridley sea turtles. This effort made the coastline and marine life near the Chevron Batangas Terminal eco-friendly.

A Decade of Environmental Leadership

It’s been a decade for this effort made an environmental impact on the community nearby community. With this, 80 participants including employees and LGU members participated. They collected 685 bags of trash from the coastline.

Chevron Batangas Terminal: A Hub for Marine Life

Situated along the San Pascual coastline for over 65 years, the Chevron Batangas Terminal has evolved into a haven for marine life. Recent observations identified 10 Olive Ridley sea turtle nests, with Chevron Batangas contributing to the release of 111 hatchlings to date.
