YAMAHA CLUB PH: WE DEFY MINDANAO 2026

SEPTEMBER 19, 2026, DAVAO – Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. brought the WE DEFY journey to its final leg in Davao, assembling 80 Yamaha Club (YCLUB) riders in Panabo City for an experience that carried the Yamaha identity from Luzon, through Visayas, and into Mindanao.

Beginning at Luneta Park in Luzon, the movement made its way to TOPS Cebu for its second leg before reaching Panabo City Hall in Davao for its final chapter. Across each stop, YCLUB riders were given the opportunity to experience what it means to move beyond the usual, find freedom in their own way, and share the road with a community that chooses to keep moving.

The nationwide journey captured the core of LIVE TO DEFY, reflecting a shared drive to push boundaries and explore new possibilities. By uniting riders from all regions, Yamaha cemented its identity as a brand for those who confidently challenge the ordinary and embrace self-expression.

THE FIRST LIGHT IGNITION

Starting in the early morning hours, 80 YCLUB riders began to assemble at the Panabo City Hall to participate in the last leg of WE DEFY, a campaign dedicated to challenging perceived limitations and actively choosing the unusual path. Participants register and receive their ‘We Defy’ jackets before sharing a simple breakfast to fuel them for the journey ahead. Soon after, the program began through intense drumbeats as blue lights surrounded the riders. This event highlighted the one Yamaha identity, turning a simple get together into a bold display of individuality. It sets a purposeful tone for the day, reminding everyone that true defiance is about finding the courage to carve for your own path.

As the Defy Wall illuminated, the riders activated their jackets, bringing the WE DEFY identity to life once more. It marked the beginning of the final ride and an experience that brought the entire community together before rolling out.

Riders were briefed on the safety protocols and the route they will take on their way to the final stop, Jack’s Ridge, Davao City. With the route set, the riders geared up to take WE DEFY beyond Panabo City and onto the road.

RIDE INTO THE DAWN

YCLUB riders took off from Panabo City in groups, depending on their motorcycle category, guided by Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) marshals to keep the ride safe and coordinated.

As the riders traversed the Coastal Road and Bucana Bridge, the morning scenery became part of the experience. The waves along the coast and the breathtaking view welcomed the riders as they rev toward their destination.

With every stretch of the road, the final ride became more than simply getting from one place to another. It was another opportunity for the YCLUB community to experience the freedom of riding together and create one more memory before the campaign wraps up.

CATCHING SUNRISE

Upon reaching Jack’s Ridge, participants were provided with breakfast, creating an opportunity for the community to socialize and catch up.

The gathering gave the community time to socialize and reconnect with fellow riders, which made the moment even more meaningful. The program then began with a YMPH representative expressing its appreciation to everyone who took part, from the first leg in Luzon all the way to the finale in Mindanao. Highlighting that the spirit of WE DEFY comes to life through the people who continue to ride, explore, and create experiences of their own.

The WE DEFY journey may have reached its final stop, but the Yamaha identity created a ride to remember for every single participant. From Luzon to Visayas and finally to Mindanao, the community showed that defiance can take many forms, whether it means facing a challenge, trying something unfamiliar, or simply choosing a path of your own.

The non-conformist spirit ‘WE DEFY’ campaign ignited will continue to propel the community forward. The roads traveled across the country now stand as a testament to riders who dared to experience the unknown and embrace their individuality. This finale leaves behind a culture of passion, proving that the drive to challenge the ordinary extends far beyond the finish line.
