Tiklop Society of the Philippines will be joining the World Bicycle Day this coming June 3, 2020. Get ready with your gear and bikes!
According to the World Cycling Alliance (WCA) and the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF), the United Nations has declared June 3rd as International World Bicycle Day.
World Bicycle Day is a global holiday for the people to enjoy and convey positive messages that bicycle symbolizes respect, social inclusion, and culture of peace. It also signifies relevance on sustainable transport and a positive impact on climate.
The Tiklop Society of the Philippines, TSP, is inviting everyone regardless of any characteristic this coming June 3.
“Since we cannot make a group ride yet, let us ride individually on that day. It could be a long bike to work or a simple errand in the neighborhood as long as you follow safety protocols.
It doesn’t matter what kind of ride it is, as long as we do. No virus can diminish our love for bikes.
