PNR GETTING READY FOR JUNE 1

Philippine National Railways is ready to roll for this coming June with health safety protocols and social distancing procedures.

Regular Train Cleaning and Disinfecting procedures. The train got the best cleaning and disinfecting simulation while observing health and safety standards set by the government to maintain social distancing at all times.

Standard Running Time. PNR configured 3-car, 4-car, and 5-car formation for the shortest time possible addressing cleanliness at all times during operation. 3.10 minutes for 3-car and 4.43 minutes for 4-car formation. 

Simulation of Operation. PNR simulates the daily service of trains to ensure the performance of each train.

New units. PNR is ready with new Diesel Locomotive trains. It has 5 Passenger coaches to increase its capacity while maintaining social distancing under the new normal.

Sanitation Protocols. Designated Sanitation Station a.k.a. Sani-station will be placed in all entry points of PNR station and terminal with steps to be followed upon entry.

Step 2: Step on the drying mat

Step 3: Pump alcohol/sanitizer  (Step1-3 in Sani Station)

Step 4: Submit to thermal scanning

Step 5: Submit to security screening
