If you’ve been riding around Metro Manila lately, visiting the new VinFast New Nemar e-motorcycle showroom at SM Mall of Asia gives you a firsthand look at the future of local commuting.
New Nemar and VinFast eMotorcycle Philippines officially opened their first flagship e-motorcycle showroom inside SM Mall of Asia on September 27, 2026.
It was a solid turnout at the launch, bringing together company execs, local moto media, lifestyle creators, and long-time UNMR brand ambassador JC Santos. Welcoming guests to the event were New Nemar President Michelle Mojares-Fabie, Board Chairman Federico Vicente D. Cadiz, VP for Operations Mel E. Mendoza, and VinFast eMotorcycle Philippines CEO Niño Fabros.
After a store blessing by Fr. Edson Estario and a classic coin shower for good luck, the teams formally signed the Certificate of Authorization—sealing New Nemar’s official partnership as a distributor for VinFast electric two-wheelers in the country.
Hands-On Experience for Daily Riders
Speaking during the program, New Nemar VP for Operations Mel E. Mendoza shared that bringing VinFast to MOA is all about offering smart, stylish rides suited for daily street use. VinFast CEO Nino Fabros added that switching to electric makes real financial sense: no trips to the gas station, fewer parts to worry about, zero exhaust fumes, and full 3S support (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) to back you up.
Wrapping up the morning with a toast, New Nemar’s Tomas Martin-Mohares summed up the vibe best: you don’t need to make up your mind before stepping in—just drop by, check out the bikes, ask questions, and see how electric commuting fits into your lifestyle.
