The Quick-Swap One-Minute Advantage That Sets the VinFast Feliz II Apart
OFFICIAL RELEASE: VinFast Philippines | PUBLISHER: ADVAI
VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines is gearing up for its official launch in the Philippines, promising a faster, cheaper, and worry-free battery-swapping network built with Filipino commuters and riders in mind, with the One-Minute Swap, a battery-swapping system built to power up an electric motorcycle in about a minute.
What Is the One-Minute Swap?
Powering VinFast’s electric motorcycle lineup — the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper — is a battery-swapping system built by VinFast E-Motorcycle in partnership with V-Green. Riders pull into a swap station, trade a drained battery for a fully charged one, and ride off — a process VinFast has engineered to take about a minute. VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines is building this out through a growing V-Green network, with plans for around 30,000 stations nationwide, positioned at VinFast dealerships, partner motorcycle shops, malls, and gas stations across the country. This infrastructure is meant to make one-minute swaps an everyday reality, not just a showroom demo.

Why Switch to the One-Minute Swap?
That one-minute swap isn’t just a novelty — it changes the math on what it costs, in time and in money, to ride electric. Here’s how:
- Speed that matches a gas stop. Filipino riders are used to quick gas stops — pull in, fill up, go. VinFast E-Motorcycle’s swap stations are built to match that same rhythm, turning “refueling” into a quick swap stop.
- Flexibility on the road. VinFast’s e-motorcycles charge overnight like any other device; about 3 to 4 hours for one battery, or 6 to 8 for two. Swapping adds another option on top of that: a fast top-up mid-shift or mid-errand, for whenever a rider needs more range right away without planning around a charging window.
- Lower upfront costs, not just lower hassle. Through VinFast’s E-Motorcycle’s battery subscription model, riders can access the swap network for a fee starting at PHP439 a month, with the first 12 months free (up to 20 swaps a month). The battery subscription model is also around 20% lower than buying the e-motorcycle with its battery included.
- Lower total ownership costs. Compared to a similar gasoline motorcycle, VinFast estimates riders could save tens of thousands of pesos over five years, with total ownership costs around 25% or lower — savings that add up fastest for ride-hailing drivers who refuel almost daily.
Solving Battery Degradation Before It Starts
There’s a longer-term worry that battery swapping resolves too: degradation. Under VinFast E-Motorcycle’s battery subscription model, VinFast takes care of the maintenance of the batteries, ensuring every ride is safe and convenient. VinFast’s battery subscription policy, applied consistently across its Philippine EV lineup, commits to replacing a battery free of charge once its health drops below a set performance threshold and turns what would normally be a rider’s problem into a promise taken care of by VinFast.
The Feliz II, Arriving July 31
Beyond the swapping system, the Feliz II holds up as a practical motorcycle in its own right — up to 145km of range on two batteries, a top speed of 90km/h, a spacious design that fits a family of three, and an IP67 waterproof rating built for sudden Philippine downpours.
The VinFast Feliz II, alongside the Evo and Viper, is set to launch officially in the Philippines on July 31, 2026.
