Lotus collaborated with Britishvolt’s innovative EV package to power the new generation EV sports car and sketch of future EV sports cars.
Lotus and battery cell expert Britishvolt have signed an MoU. They collaborate on the research and development of advanced new EV technology. This partnership will focus on the co-development of an innovative new battery cell package. It aims to power the next generation of electric sports cars from Lotus.
Firstly, the package will feature in the new sports car with EV technology. Secondly, it is powered by Britishvolt cells, it utilizes advanced electric propulsion technologies developed by Lotus. And lastly, the official design sketch provides the first clues to a new Lotus EV sports car.
