The 2nd Angkas Safety Fiesta commits Peace, Safety, and Order and this is a follow up of the event held last 2019.
This years’ Angkas Safety Fiesta is a follow up of the event held last 2019. This time, bigger! As shared by the event security, an estimate of more than 7 thousand Angkas members participated in this event. This is not just to enjoy the day but to learn, to express, and celebrate.
The activity started out early around 7 in the morning for training, re-training, and upgrading of riding skills. This is to augment the spirit of service as the safest hailing app service on motorcycles. For the record, 70% of the total applicants failed due to the riding standard requirement. Moreover, a pampering massage and haircut follows after the long rigorous riding skill test.
They also come to express who really are Angkas riders. They are passionate people seeking a decent and legal way to earn for the family. With this, the event echoes that in any trouble, doubts, and criticism, they remain strong and considerate. They tend to show positivity instead of fighting head to head on the streets.
And lastly, they celebrate the five years of being steadfast, the group remain to move forward with a 99% safety record on the road and customer service to anyone.
In addition, friends from different parts of the industry join in and congratulate the group. It is also the right time that riders from Angkas meet the people who help out to make the illegal way of earning become legal through standardizing and recognizing Angkas as a legal and safe way to travel and earn decent work.
