Suzuki Burgman Street Show of Force at the Makina Motoshow 2023
During the opening day of the Makina Motoshow at the SMX Convention Center, Suzuki’s much-awaited motorcycles, the Burgman Street 125 EX and the V-STROM 1050DE, were unveiled.

The following day, Suzuki Motorcycles made a strong impression when nearly 2,000 Burgman Street riders from the Suzuki Burgman Street Elite Riders Club Philippines gathered at the Suzuki Hub to show their pride and support for the Burgman Street lineage. Members came from as far as Butuan and Davao to attend the event. The SMX Convention Center was filled with riders in uniform, who cheered for Team Suzuki and the launch of the Burgman Street 125 EX Executive Class.

At the Suzuki Hub, the riders were treated to a program, which included personal welcomes by the new Suzuki Philippines President, Koichiro Hirao.

The Burgman Series is a line-up of scooters produced by Suzuki, with displacement ranges from 125cc to 650cc. In the Philippines, the Burgman became popular as “The Maxi Scooter You Can Afford.” The Burgman Street 125 EX Executive Class is the latest variant, which aims to give customers more options to choose from.

Suzuki Philippines currently offers three variants under the Burgman series: the Burgman 400 ABS priced at Php 529,000, Burgman Street 125 with an SRP of Php 82,400, and the Burgman Street 125 EX Executive Class priced at Php 92,400.

The Burgman Street 125 EX is powered by the new 125cc Fuel-injected Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha engine technology, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine, which delivers optimum power at a maximum fuel efficiency of 52.6km/L. It also includes features such as the Engine Auto Stop-Start system and the Silent Starter System.

The Burgman Street 125 EX sports an improved, fully digital instrument panel laid out for better visibility, and it gives more comprehensive information. The Combined Brake System distributes braking force to both the front and rear wheels resulting in a more stable stopping power. It also has a 2L Lidded front glove box with a USB outlet.

Suzuki has refined the design of the Burgman Street 125 EX with richer, more elegant styling in mind. It now sports a 12inch tubeless rear tire, a signature, premium and well-built Burgman seat, and an extremely bright LED headlight.

The Burgman Street 125 EX is engineered to consider the rider’s Safety and Convenience. It has a Side Stand Safety Switch and a One Push Central Locking System for better security. The Burgman Street 125 EX comes in two premium colors, Metallic Royal Bronze and Metallic Matte Black, and is priced affordably at Php 92,400.
