Finally, the much awaited Suzuki Avenis is now revealed in the Philippine market. This will be the first muscular sporty scooter in the country that will create a new category of its own. Marketed in India as a “zip” ride, the Suzuki Avenis will be the scooter that is ready for anything. In addition, it is expected to follow the success of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125.

We have the privilege of having first hand experience and what Suzuki Avenis can offer. Upon gazing on it, it projects a sporty stance that is visible in its edgy shaped-body design. The meter visor, body graphic design, and split grab handle compliments well.

FIRST IMPRESSION

The headlight and split rear lights stand-out visibly. It works well in both clear and rainy weather. What’s noticeable with this ride is the fuel access located at the rear seat. It may seem to be an issue for those who want to install a top box but the ingenious design of the after-market rear racks has already considered this. Moreover, this is best for refueling since it is accessible anytime without even removing any baggage carried.

The comfort of riding is surprising. It can accommodate a long-legged rider and OBR can seat comfortably as well. Enough floorboard luggage with dual utility hooks is generously considered in the design. The two-tone non-slip seat can comfortably hold passengers and riders well.

The signature tires, similar to the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, can be seen in this model. Technically, this is a perfect size for the Avenis – design approach that considers practicality, safety, and power. The 4-stroke SOHC 125cc engine is the perfect arsenal to its purpose.

Riding the Suzuki Avenis on paved road conditions is swell. Similarly, on unpaved roads of gravel and sand, performs a great deal. The stop brake lever greatly helps during stops. Here’s the technical aspect.
