Sumptuous Breakfast Ride at Illo’s Paraňaque

Rediscover what’s more in the City of Paraňaque and have a sumptuous breakfast in a posh-resto that started out with a party tray delivery.

When you search on the web, what best describes Paraňaque City, you’ll find, “The Mega City by the Bay”. Probably when you drive/ride along Sucat Road (Dr. A Santos Ave.) starting from the South Luzon Expressway side, you’ll see the picturesque Laguna De Bay. And on the Baclaran side is the beautiful Manila Bay. Consequently, traveling along Roxas Boulevard starting from the Baclaran District area all the way to Brgy. San Dionisio, you’ll see the Manila bay on the right. And the same way, traversing the Expressway from Sucat to Bicutan, Laguna De Bay is nice to look at. So what’s so fascinating about this city that is worth rediscovering.

Churches

One of the notable churches found in the city is The Cathedral Parish of St Andrew. Built in 1850; the oldest church in Parañaque and one of the oldest in the country. And the Baclaran Church. Also known as the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. This church has quite the number of visitors that can accommodate devotees of 3,000 in seating capacity or about 9,000 that includes the church goers standing outside.

Natural attraction

Are you aware that Paraňaque is the bird sanctuary of neighboring countries such as China and even as far as Siberia? During the winter season, birds flock to the Bird Sanctuary of Paraňaque to avoid the cold weather. Catch them with your lenses from August to March for the best view.

Food Stops

Most likely, when we talk about food and party gathering options in Paraňaque, Dampa, a collection of stalls that sell fresh seafood and more, tops the list. But we discovered a posh-resto that serves party gathering food as well that is relaxing, neat, and fresh.

Now with dine-in outlets known as Illo’s Home, it has grown with two branches. One in Paraňaque and the other in Greenhills. When in the South, the Illo’s Home at President’s Ave. in Paraňaque City is a must visit. For a start, the vibe, “Life Party at Home”, is felt when you dine-in.

Secondly, the same concept, to celebrate good life for your comforts eating the favorite staple foods like Baked Penne, Kare-Kare, and Pork Binagoongan, are one of the best served. And yes, breakfast is also available. We tried them out and we can say, you should experience a breakfast ride within the city too. What’s their secret ingredient? Well, keep your eyes glued here and on our social media channels for the exclusive interview with the owners.

And Lastly, we always say “posh”. Yes it’s true. But for the owners, Chef N and sir MaQ, what they serve is nothing fancy. No flavors added to food. It’s genuinely prepared- all natural, what the food should taste. True enough.

For the next breakfast ride, visit Illo’s Home and do check their website for more of Illo’s Party Trays.
