Experiencing the new Suzuki Burgman 15, a feature-packed 150cc maxi-scooter that brings intelligent luxury and premium comfort to Filipino riders.
– Alex A – Lifestyle On Wheels
There is nothing quite like the collective buzz of hundreds of Filipino motorcycle enthusiasts gathered on a bright Saturday morning. Lifestyle On Wheels spent an immersive weekend at the official Philippine launch of the all-new Suzuki Burgman 15. And let me tell you, Suzuki just completely shook up the local maxi-scooter fanatics.
If you weren’t able to drop by, here is exactly how the day unfolded:
The Gathering
Arriving at the main activity area, the electric atmosphere with Media partners, content creators, value dealers, and massive crowds of Suzuki riders was astounding. Suzuki pulled out all the stops, giving us a massive, generous bike display right outside the central pavilion. Walking through the registration booths, you could feel the collective anticipation. We all knew a major release was coming, but we didn’t realize just how much of a game-changer it would be.

Unveiling “Intelligent Luxury”
The event kicked off with Mr. Koichiro Hirao, President of Suzuki Philippines, on the scene, dropping a massive gesture, the very first country in the world to get this model!

The crowd went for the new Burgman 15. Priced at an aggressive SRP of 165,000 PHP, this 149cc, fuel-injected powerhouse is built around the concept of “Intelligent Luxury.” It’s packed with heavy-hitting tech: dual-channel ABS, a Traction Control System (TCS), a gorgeous full-color TFT display, and best of all, an integrated Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) built right into the wheels!

Real Talk from the Pros
Right after the launch, some of our favorite celebrity riders took the stage to share their raw, honest first impressions. GMA artist and athlete John De Guzman, creative visionary Arian Esami, and the prominent lady rider Hypermoto talked about putting the Burgman through its paces.

Hypermoto couldn’t stop praising the safety features, especially how stable the dual ABS felt. Meanwhile, John and Arian pointed out how incredibly wide and ergonomically comfortable the premium stitched seat is. Noting that the larger 14-inch wheels and sub-tank twin rear suspension make it an absolute dream for long provincial rides.
The Community Takeover
By mid-afternoon, the event transitioned into the community phase. The Rider’s Segment brought together the local clubs and hardcore enthusiasts. They’re celebrating with a ceremonial toast to “Team Suzuki.” The public segment was in full swing, giving everyday commuters and curious fans a chance to swarm the stage. The gorgeous Pearlescent White, Matte Gold, and Metallic Matte Gray colorways, up close and on display, dominate attention.

The Ultimate Proof
Of course, you can’t truly judge a bike until you ride it. Suzuki kept the test-ride track running continuously from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM.

Riders geared up, signed the safety forms, and took the Burgman 15 out for a spin on the track. The engine’s responsiveness is immediate (delivering up to 10.6 kW of power), but the real magic is the premium comfort. It handles bumps like they aren’t even there. The flexible foot positioning lets you stretch your legs out maxi-scooter style. A glimpse of the integrated TPMS warning system on the dashboard when a tire was intentionally under-inflated for demonstration was impressive. Now that is smart engineering.
