Broadleaf’s Smart Mobility Platform project targets traffic congestion in relation to the government e-Mobility transformation.
Broadleaf, a developer and provider of IT services focused on the automotive aftermarket industry. It aims to implement a “Pilot Project for Smart Mobility Platform”. This is a project in the Philippines selected by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Administered by JETRO, the implementation is for Digital Transformation (DX). And also the development of a MaaS (Mobility as a Service). In addition, the MaaS platform has the potential to increase the convenience of everyday life. Moreover, this mobility app will close the gap on the environmental impact of transport congestion here and in ASEAN countries.
SMART MOBILITY PLATFORM PROJECT
This Smart Mobility Platform project targets traffic congestion in relation to the government e-Mobility transformation of transport. How this will help? Here’s the detail of the project.
- Provision of an electronic payment system for cashless transportation fare payments and boarding reservations.
- Provision of an operational management system for visualizing vehicle locations, managing vehicle dispatch schedules, etc.
- Introduction of a MaaS platform that integrates the Big Data analysis infrastructure collected from these systems.
Angat Pilipinas Transport Cooperative (APTC)
APTC is a transportation business cooperative by NCSP. This further adopts electric vehicles eligible for the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization (PUVM) Program. The platform integrates tricycle operation modes, secondary transportation modes, and jeepneys. These will make last-mile service, destinations, and dispatch including payment sand operation management is also integrated.
