Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, one of the country’s top motorcycle manufacturers and Angkas, a pioneering ride-hailing platform, announced their strategic partnership recently which is aimed at improving the lives of Filipino riders. The partnership was launched at the Angkas Tagumpay Center, Ortigas Ave., Cainta, Rizal, wherein fifteen (15) selected Angkas riders were introduced to Suzuki’s reliable and fuel-efficient motorcycles.

A Month-Long Experience

To kick off the partnership, fifteen (15) selected Angkas riders were given the opportunity to experience Suzuki motorcycles firsthand. For a month, these riders will be using the borrowed Burgman Street EX and Smash units for their daily rides.

“Sobrang nasisiyahan ako sa ginawa ng Suzuki para saming mga rider na hindi pa kayang bumili ng bagong unit ng motor sa panghanap-buhay sa araw-araw…” said Manny Tayoto, an Angkas rider since 2017. Bernie Candelario, an Angkas rider since 2018, also expressed his gratitude, saying, “Nagpapasalamat ako sa Suzuki at pinasubukan sa amin itong kanilang unit ng mga motor. Ang inaasahan ko dito sa smash ay sobrang nakapaktipid nga nito at napakatibay, kahit nilulusong ito sa baha ay laban na laban…”

The next batch of motorcycles will see around 20 units of Suzuki Avenis – another scooter model of the brand known for its practicality, convenience, fuel-efficiency and comfort.
