The Philippine big-bike scene just hit a major high note as the Ladies of Harley (LOH) Philippines Chapter officially launched with a gala at Hilton Manila. Women riders rode in from across the country—including heavy turnouts from Manila and Cebu—to celebrate a new era for female motorcycling in the region.
Uniting Local Talent with Asia’s Motorcycling Network
The event was put together alongside Harley Owners Group (HOG) Asia-Pacific (AXA) and the Motorglide training center, led by Coach Irwin. Founding Director February “Feb” Canoy led the official oath-taking alongside HOG Philippines Regional Director Rizalino “Yen” Roxas, LOH Regional Director Dr. Sheetal Shah, Marisol from the HOG AP team, and HOG Manila Chapter Director Joana Gonzales-Choi. The launch plugs local Filipina riders straight into a 150-strong regional network of women Harley riders across 12 Asian countries, giving female riders a solid space to step up, sharpen their skills, and support each other on the open road.
Riding with Purpose: The Ride Zero Challenge
It wasn’t just speeches and photo ops, either. Partnering with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), represented by Julia Socorro, the group immediately kicked off the “Ride Zero Challenge.” For their very first official three-day tour, every rider pledged to ditch single-use plastic bottles, refill custom bamboo tumblers, and clean up after themselves at every stop along the way.
Steering the Future of Philippine Motoring
By bringing real skills training, actual environmental care, and a close-knit community into the mix, LOH Philippines is setting a real example for local riding clubs. These women aren’t just tagging along—they’re taking the handlebars and steering where Philippine motorcycling goes next.
