Kyle Paz’s experience in the 2021 Season of the FIM CEV MOTO2 European Championships reached its climax. After making history, the wonder boy competed with a very strong finish concluding the milestone. In spite of the challenges, he remained on the 16th overall rankings. The FIM CEV-REPSOL MOTO2
At last, the first Filipino to compete in the FIM CEV -REPSOL MOTO2 Category. With Yamaha at his back, he races under the VR46 Mastercamp Team. To compete and represent the country in racetracks across Spain and Portugal is his first exposure to the prestige race.
Similarly, his experience in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya made him even more ready for the Portimão Circuit. Nervous but confident, he concluded during the Yamaha Press Conference before his flight to Spain, that he is anxious to race.
“The Wonderboy” is growing even better, becoming an icon in motoring sports. Wishing to compete against the best racers in the world came to fruition. Round 5 of the competition made his budding skills shine in the MotorLand Aragon.
Returning home in the Philippines, he continued to practice until his time to fly back to Spain for the last round. Arriving in Valencia, Kyle heads for a testing session and qualification. He gears in action for the finale. The finale got only one race instead of the usual 2 races covering 19 laps to move up in the position ranking.
