Manila, Philippines, February 27, 2025 –- GAC Motor Philippines, led by Astara Philippines, continues to build on its success, earning two major global awards at the recent 2025 GAC International Partner Conference. The brand received back-to-back Gold Awards for Outstanding Distributor of the Year 2024 and Outstanding Sales Department of 2024, recognizing its exceptional growth, strong sales performance, and commitment to customer service.
GAC Motor International has expanded its presence across 72 countries and regions worldwide, achieving a 97% increase in global retail performance, with the Asian market driving significant growth. The Philippines stood out as a key market, recording 3,207 unit sales in 2024, marking a 65% year-on-year growth. This strong performance reflects the increasing demand for GAC Motor’s vehicles in the country.
At the 2025 GAC International Partner Conference, GAC Motor Philippines was recognized for its dealership network expansion, which grew from six dealerships in 2022 to 20 in 2023, and 32 in 2024, marking the fastest dealership growth within the global GAC network.
