Ducati Philippines sweep the podiums in the PSBK and Pirelli Cup

Ducati Riders Make a Sweeping Statement at Clark International Speedway, Winning All Classes in PSBK and Pirelli Cup

Ducati Philippines had a dominant race weekend at the Clark International Speedway, sweeping the podiums in the Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) and Pirelli Cup.

In the PSBK, Access Plus Racing’s TJ Alberto and Lawrence Macalinao won both races in the Pro and Expert Classes, respectively. Josh Tan also won both races in the Intermediate and Novice Classes.

In the Pirelli Cup, Ducati riders won all three classes, with Jan Timbol, Zeng Huazhong, and Justin Guce taking the top three spots in the Super A Class. Daniel James Dale, Lester Milan, and Paolo Aguilar finished 1-2-3 in the Heavyweight B Class, while Ric Cruz and Michael David took the top two spots in the Naked Class. Rookie Jade Ragalario won the Rookie Class.

Ducati Philippines President Toti Alberto was pleased with the results, saying, “We got a perfect score for TJ, Lawrence, and especially the Ducati racers in the Pirelli Cup, which was a really good showing for the brand. We won all the classes 1-2-3.”

The Ducati Cup also made a return in 2023, with riders of all skill levels competing. Rookie Ryu Hyomin finished 5th overall, while Dr. Diego Mangahas and John Defensor both had respectable results.

Overall, it was an unforgettable race weekend for Ducati Philippines and its riders. They showed the brand’s abilities on track and proved that it can win on different categories even with a diverse group of rider skills.
