Rev Up and Ride Dapper for a Cause!
Manila’s most stylish ride returns in May

Manila, Philippines – Get ready to don your finest attire and rev up those classic motorcycles. On Sunday, May 18, 2025, dapper gentlefolk participating in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) will grace the streets of Metro Manila. With over 90,000 riders in 900-plus cities across 105 countries, this global event aims to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.
Classic Bikes, A Modern Mission
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is more than just a stylish parade. It’s a movement that unites classic and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts to support men’s health. Since 2016, DGR has raised AUD $40 million for Movember, funding crucial prostate cancer research and mental health initiatives. In Manila, we have raised a total of PHP899,912.16, since we started DGR in 2015.
Founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa, DGR was inspired by a photo of Don Draper from Mad Men. The event brings together motorcycle enthusiasts to ride in style while supporting a serious cause.

Riding Towards a Healthier Future
Since 2016, DGR has proudly partnered with the Movember Foundation to champion men’s health on a global scale. Together, DGR and Movember have made significant strides in improving men’s health outcomes, fostering a supportive community, and driving impactful change worldwide. In fact, last December, Movember announced an important breakthrough in the treatment of prostate cancer research. A Movember-funded study has found that lutetium prostate-specific membrane antigen (LuPSMA), a form of targeted nuclear therapy that helps treat an advanced and terminal form of prostate cancer, could significantly improve outcomes for patients in earlier stages of the disease.
“This breakthrough is made possible through all your support–from donations to raising awareness about men’s physical and mental health,” says Mark Laccay, DGR Manila host. “This year, let’s continue the tradition of making a difference in the lives of our fathers, brothers, sons and friends. Register, donate and spread the word about men’s health to friends and family. Let’s dedicate this year’s ride to the rider communities who continue to volunteer and help raise funds year after year.
