Chevron Philippines Inc. lights the way to sustainability with a transformative solar initiative for Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc.

In a philanthropic stride towards environmental and social responsibility, Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) has embarked on a transformative journey alongside Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. (TWHI) and SasonbiSolar. CPI’s generous donation of Php1.2 million will fund the installation of solar panels by SasonbiSolar, paving the way for a renewable energy source at TWHI.

This strategic initiative by Chevron Philippines Inc., aligning with global carbon reduction efforts, aims to significantly cut Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc.’s (TWHI) electricity expenses, constituting 15 to 30 percent of their total costs. Showcasing dedication to a future with reduced carbon impact and bolstered internal economic growth, the alliance channels saved resources into backing extra initiatives for individuals with disabilities.

Going beyond monetary support, Chevron’s joint vision with TWHI and SasonbiSolar centers on transforming energy structures, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
