Caltex Opens First EV Charging Station in BGC

Caltex BGC Station is a welcome addition to the BGC community with EV charging facilities, showcasing its commitment to sustainability.

Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) and Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) have partnered to open a flagship Caltex station in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City. The station will feature a range of new and exciting sustainable features, including EV charging facilities, solar panels, and energy-efficient LED lights.

The Caltex BGC station will be located along 32nd Street in the Crescent Park West District. It will be the first Caltex station in the Philippines to offer EV charging facilities. The station will also have a lush living wall, dedicated bicycle racks, and a rainwater collection system.

The flagship Caltex autoPro workshop will also be located at the BGC station. The autoPro workshop will offer a complete range of maintenance services for cars and light vehicles. Customers will also be able to take advantage of seasonal promotions and discounts at the autoPro workshop.

FBDC Chief Operating Officer Alfie Reyes said that the partnership with CPI is a “win-win” for both companies. “We are aligned in the vision of having a world-class service station that promotes friendly technologies along with traditional fuels,” said Reyes. “We believe that the addition of a flagship Caltex station in BGC will add significant value to the estate, our locators, and our motorists.”

CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu said that the new station is a testament to the company’s commitment to providing superior fuel and customer experience. “We are excited to bring this world-class service station to BGC,” said Liu. “We believe that it will set a new standard for what motorists can expect from a Caltex station.”

The Caltex BGC station is scheduled to open in early 2024. It will be a welcome addition to the BGC community and a showcase for Chevron’s commitment to sustainability.
