AUTOHUB GROUP OF COMPANIES ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH HONDA PHILIPPINES INCORPORATED

Honda Philippines Inc.’s safety advocacy division, Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC), has formally signed an agreement with the Autohub Group of Companies through the Autohub Institute of Technology (AIT) to encourage safe driving among all road users for both two wheels and four wheels. Present at the event are Autohub President & CEO, Willy Tee Ten, Honda Philippines Inc. President, Susumu Mitsuishi, Autohub AVP After Sales Support, Jesus Boces Jr. and, Honda Philippines Inc. AVP for Business Administration, Gerry Datario.

The Autohub Group of Companies established AIT in 2014, a training school for automotive technicians. AIT aims to hone its students to become technical experts in the automotive industry not just here in the Philippines but also globally.

This program teaches our fellow riders basic motorcycle training to enhance their riding skills whilst having the exclusivity to use one of Triumph and Vespa’s motorbikes.

In addition to this, HSDC and AIT is conducting safety driving courses for Autohub Group’s 4-wheel fleet clients.

Safety has, and will always be essential both in motorcycle riding, which is why Autohub partnered with Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) to bring you Autohub Motorcycle Training Excellence (AMTEX). You will learn all ways to properly maneuver your motorcycle and how to be a responsible rider.

This course aims to foster a safe, responsible, and empowered motorcycle riding experience by offering fundamental rider education. With an emphasis on safety procedures as they are exposed to a range of road conditions in a safe and regulated setting, it is designed to enhance the experience for motorcycle riders. Additionally, the course is recognized as an 8-hour practical driving course for individuals who hold a student license and an extra restriction for motorcycles, for those with non-professional and professional licenses.

Starting with classroom seminars, the safety instructors will teach you proper hand signals, road signs, road markings, and other safety tips. After the seminar, the instructors would then lead you to the actual riding course wherein there would be a set of different obstacles. These set of obstacles is intended to enhance the rider’s skill set in navigating curves by shifting, accelerating, and braking precisely while keeping up with the tempo of the road condition.
