Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, is celebrating its 50th anniversary, symbolizing five decades of delivering top-notch motorcycles that embody quality, innovation, and dependability to enrich the lives of Filipino riders. To commence the festivities, HPI proudly introduced Ms. Sayaka Arai, its newly-appointed and first female president, during an event held at the HPI Plant in Tanauan City, Batangas. Arai san not only presented the special commemorative model but also led the roll-off ceremony on the production line, signifying the start of this momentous milestone.

Five decades of mobility & comfort to Filipinos
Mariwasa-Honda, established in 1973 in the Philippines, began its journey by producing 4,700 motorbikes annually. In the following years, they introduced various models (1973-77) such as TM110, Honda C70, XL125, TM125, TM110S, and TMX155 . In 1983, Honda Motor Co. Ltd became the majority owner, giving birth to Honda Philippines, Inc. They continued to innovate and introduce new motorcycles like XL125SR, C70DD Econopower, PF50, C100 Dream, and Wave110.

In 2002, Honda Philippines, Inc. gained the top position in the motorcycle industry with ANF125, NF100, and XRM Dual Sports. The company celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2003, launching TMX125 and limited edition XRM110. They expanded production, moving to a larger facility in Batangas in 2006. By 2008, they had produced 2 million motorcycles and released the XRM RS125 model.
Over the years, Honda Philippines, Inc. introduced various models, reaching 7 million motorcycles in 2022. Notable releases include Click125i, Click150i, Genio, ADV150, Supra GTR150, Honda X-ADV, PCX160, and CBR500R. The company aims to provide Filipinos with reliable transportation and job opportunities while exceeding customer expectations with innovative products and services.
