Filipinos thinking about going electric can test-drive and compare over 15 vehicle brands in a single visit at the 14th Philippine EV Summit (PEVS), happening October 22 to 24, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) today confirmed the brands joining this year’s test-drive and display program. The lineup spans city cars, family SUVs, premium and performance models, commercial vehicles and electric two-wheelers, giving visitors a full picture of what the local EV market offers today.
“The best way to understand an EV is to drive one,” said EVAP President Willy Q. Tee Ten. “At PEVS, you can try a family SUV in the morning, sit in a performance car after lunch, and test an e-motorcycle before you head home. That kind of side-by-side comparison helps people make a confident decision about which EV fits their lifestyle and budget.”
Visitors can test-drive and view models from BYD, Kia, Toyota, Nissan, MG, Zeekr, Deepal, MINI and Lotus, Changan and AVATR, Dongfeng Motors and Forland. NWOW and NXT represent light electric mobility on the show floor.
The brand showcase sits within a wider ecosystem on the show floor. Visitors can explore charging solutions for homes, businesses and fleets, talk to banking, financing and insurance partners, and hear from policy experts, including representatives of the Department of Energy, on the roadmap shaping the industry.
This year’s theme, “Driving ASEAN Forward: Building an Integrated Electric Mobility Ecosystem,” reflects the Philippines’ role as ASEAN chair in 2026 and the growing momentum of EV adoption in the region.
