With this pandemic, recession, and calamity, building and stirring the economy is at slow speed. Bringing help to affected families is a challenge. This is where Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines came to a bigger role to mobilize and prioritize the needs of the community.
Honda spearhead and answer the call to oversee and manage by focusing on three values to make and build the community.
Donate and rebuild
Honda Foundation Inc. (HFI) donated construction supplies to rebuild homes. HFI reached out to an estimated 100 families of Barangay Alibuag, Belmonte, Bislig, Bon’ot, Cabcab, Cabungahan, Catagbacan, Lictin, Lubas, Manambrag, Puting Baybay, Rizal, Salvacion, Tibang, and Timbaan. These barangays are greatly affected by Typhoons’ Rolly and Ulysses last year.
They enjoyed HFI support and rebuild homes with the assistance of the Catanduanes Masonic Lodge No. 291 and the local government unit.
Answer the call for Bayanihan
Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines answered the call for “Bayanihan” – The Honda Way. It is composed of Honda Cars Philippines Inc, Honda Philippines Inc, Honda Parts Manufacturing Corp., and Honda Trading Philippines.
This effort is in the time since it exhibits “One Honda”, where Filipinos rise and rebuild together.
Serve as hope for the people
In the challenging year brought by the current pandemic and typhoon, simple donations serve as a hope for the people.
Catanduanes dramatically recovered with the hope that these communities contributed effort to make their lives recover and efforts that found a source of upliftment. Honda served as the hope for the people.
