POWER AND PERFORMANCE
Its power is from a refined 155cc LC4V SOHC F.I. engine, and VVA. This new engine gives you enhanced horsepower with a higher engine displacement, improves overall efficiency with better fuel consumption.
Assist and Slipper Clutch, Traction Control System, and Quick Shifter complement its performance; a first in a Yamaha single-cylinder motorcycle for quick and smooth, clutchless, full-throttle upshifts.
It continues to carry the prestigious R-Series DNA. The aerodynamic body design features new fairings for excellent high-speed stability.
ERGONOMIC
The slim profile and small frontal projected area work well with the M1-styled bubble windscreen to help prevent oncoming wind from being drawn in around the rider when in a racing tuck. This helps reduce discomfort when riding at high speeds.
FUNCTIONALITY
The new headlight of this model features a single bi-functional LED unit emitting both the low and high beam. It is characterized by increased brightness, a broad beam spread and little variance in illumination across the beam.
PANEL INDICATOR AND CONTROLS
The new LCD instrument panel house newly added indicators for shift timing, the Traction Control System, individual left and right turn signals, and more. The panel has two display modes for the rider to choose from: a Street mode placing priority on information necessary for riding on city streets and a Track mode that limits information to what a rider wants for the racetrack, such as altering the tachometer bar to begin at 6,000 rpm.
COMFORT AND STOPPING POWER
This model doesn’t skip on comfort as well with upside down front forks that provide excellent shock absorption. The Dual Channel ABS gives maximum braking control from both front and rear disc brakes. The Super Wide Tire that measures 140mm works well for better grip on wet or dry surfaces.
SAFETY
The engine does not operate when the side stand is down. This ensures that the motorcycle is safe to use with the side stand folded up. It also includes notable features such as the aluminum swing arm, special seat, dual horn, meter panel switch, top cap engraved with logo, 3D logo, and gray color muffler guard.
DESIGN AND AVAILABILITY
The design of the YZF-R15M promises to deliver unparalleled racing authenticity. It is available in two color variations: Icon Performance with an SRP of 189,500 and Anniversary White (WGP 60 th Anniversary edition) with an SRP of 193,500.
