Together with Iskrambol Marketing, the Safe Ride Experience will help promote safety road practices of motorists, commuters, and road users. Kicking off with the motorcycle riders, augmenting them on basic safety riding practices to leisure riding enhancement skills. In the same way, the Philippine Coast Guard is one in this mission. Aside from performing maritime rescue, law enforcement, safety, and marine environmental protection, the armed uniformed service of the country is also on road safety as well.

Commander Coast Guard Fleet, Coast Guard Rear Admiral Charlie Q Rances is very positive with the training and firmly believes that this will help a lot specially the marine troops, equipping them with the proper knowledge and hands-on-application while riding on the street.

Safety Riding is part of Suzuki Motor Philippines’ advocacy, imparting knowledge on safety riding practices. A safety seminar and hands-on-knowledge about the bike, the laws on the road, the safe practices on the road, and drills for riding enhancement during the training.

In addition, an actual application learned during the seminar and demo riding is conducted, assessing skill levels during the training.

“Safety riding is really a part of Suzuki Philippines’ advocacy and we hope that we can impart knowledge and more techniques para naman mas maging masaya at makabuluhan ang pagmo-motor natin everyday. Hindi kasi puedeng sakay lang ng motor at ride lang diba. Dapat safe tayo, kasi nga, ngayun, oras na para magmotor”.

Edelyn Yanilla, Advertising and PR Motorcycle Division.

The activity is a 2-day event conducted at the Pier 13, Philippine Coast Guard in Manila, last January 27-28, 2023. Participated by the Philippine Coast Guard riders, Iskramblers (moto-vloggers), moto-media, and content creators. It aims not just to create awareness but also to be part of the solution for safer riding practices on the road.

“This activity is really about giving and instructing the basics of safety riding and safety etiquette.”

“Whenever you go out and try the various products of Suzuki and all other manufacturers, you will be able to do it confidently in a safe manner.”

Nenuca Guba, Marketing Manager, Suzuki Motorcycle Philippines.
