Destinations without the testing requirement

Here’s the list of cities and municipalities in the country that don’t require RT-PCR and antigen testing.

The Department of Tourism sees a positive outcome bouncing back the Tourism while the LGU’s agree to visit their local cities and municipalities without requiring a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and antigen testing.

As of October 24, 2021, here’s the list of cities and municipalities in the country that don’t require a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and antigen testing requirement, and further developments.

  • CEBU PROVINCE
  • LAPU-LAPU CITY
  • CATBALOGAN CITY

NEEDS CERTIFICATE ACQUIRED THROUGH VaxCertPH (doh.gov.ph) 

  • BOHOL
  • ILOILO CITY
  • NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

REQUIRES VACCINATION CARD FROM VISITORS 

  • CLARK FREEPORT ZONE (except areas under ECQ) 
  • SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE
  • TARLAC (for areas under ECQ and MECQ) 
  • MASBATE PROVINCE
  • SOUTHERN LEYTE
  • TACLOBAN CITY
  • MAASIN CITY
  • MISAMIS ORIENTAL

Other tourist destinations still require RT-PCR and antigen testing like Boracay but DOT will continue to work with the National Task Force Against COVID-19, the LGUs, and the private sector to ensure that 100 percent of tourism workers in the country
