A fitting tribute for the original Cummins engine-powered RAM D250s, it’s going big or going home.

A fitting tribute to the Cummins and Ram D250 trucks that have had a long partnership. Industry leaders on pickup trucks made the earliest production models since the 1989 truck started its life. Dodge truck wins

The truck was in the United States Auto Club (USAC) “Ford VS Chevy VS Dodge” diesel comparison test in Colorado. The Dodge truck was then a winner in all categories. Finally, in 1989, the truck was fitted to the current model year production D250 diesel pickup.

Hanging truck on a wall

Hanging a truck on a wall is not easily done. It’s a fitting tribute to the D250. Cummins and the COB renovation team partnered with a local Columbus contractor and a structural engineering firm to determine the best way to display the truck.

So how did they do it? The short answer: Lots of steel and reinforcements. The truck is hoist into place and did some onsite modifications. Slowly but surely, the truck was perfectly fitted into place.
