XPRESS BRINGS RIDE-HAILING TO PAMPANGA, EXPANDS FILIPINO SUPER- APP TO CENTRAL LUZON
Locally built platform launches 4-wheel services in Clark and Angeles, paving the way for an EV-first future
CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, PAMPANGA — September 23, 2025. Filipino-owned super-app Xpress has launched its 4-wheel ride-hailing services in Pampanga, marking its entry into Central Luzon and advancing its mission to deliver smarter, safer, and more inclusive transport “for Filipinos, by Filipinos.”
The launch was attended by Gen. Richard Albano (LTFRB Region III), Gen. Lina Sarmiento (Clark Development Corp.), and Mr. Dante Basanta (Clark International Airport), who highlighted Xpress’ role in modernizing regional transport, empowering local drivers, and improving commuter experience.
“This marks a significant shift in how we move people in and around Pampanga. Xpress introduces a model of public-private partnership that addresses both accessibility and safety in local transportation,” said Gen. Albano.
Smarter Rides, Community Impact
Pampanga commuters can now book sedan and SUV rides via the Xpress Super App, with features including Scan & Ride QR onboarding, Advance Booking, and Recurring Rides. Transparent fares with no surge pricing aim to make transport both accessible and affordable, while creating new income streams for Kapampangan drivers.
Roadmap: EV and Regional Growth
● EV integration with BYD and AC Mobility, positioning Pampanga as a hub for early deployment.
● LGU and airport collaborations to align with regional development and tourism.
● A long-term goal of 100% EV operations nationwide by 2030.
Xpress has already proven its model in Boracay, partnering with the LGU of Malay and BLTMPC to reimagine ride-hailing on the island—a success now being scaled nationwide.
