This December 15, World Bazaar Festival kicks off at Vertis North open grounds with a grand opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Pheomela Baranda.
OPENING CEREMONY
The opening ceremony was graced by the following personalities, namely:
- Hon. Bernadette Romulo Puyat (Secretary, Department of Tourism)
- Hon. Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. (Chairman, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority)
- Hon. Joy Belmonte (Mayor, Quezon City)

In addition, the opening ceremony program featured performers from the Center for Pop Music. Then the Calista Group showcased their talent. Of course, its main highlight was the tree lighting ceremony with fanfare and a special performance of the Christmas icon, Mr. Jose Mari Chan.
This year’s World Bazaar Festival further spreads a message of hope and positivity. Moreover, with many vendors and great finds in the bazaar. All in all, visitors will really have a fun time checking out the different products from a variety of vendors.
The event will also have different activities. DJ night and Cooking Demo, amongst others, will surely continue the fun. The World Bazaar Festival undoubtedly provides a much-needed positivity this Christmas season after a year full of challenges.
