Suzuki Avenis empowers lady riders with Lifestyle On Wheels #SafeRideJourney – Avenis Women’s Month Ride.

In recent years, women who ride have become a more prominent part of the motorcycling community. The image of a lone male rider has been replaced by a diverse range of women of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures, enjoying the freedom and adventure of riding motorcycles. Women who ride are breaking stereotypes and shattering the glass ceiling in a historically male-dominated industry.

To celebrate, we took Suzuki Avenis for a quick estimated 150 km ride from Suzuki Philippines and visited key destinations relevant to what riders usually do. Since this is a #SafeRideJounrey, Suzuki Philippines’ Suzuki Safety Riding Authority coach Sherwin Florendo took the riders for a group riding briefing and overview about the scooter that they will be going to use.

THE RIDE – SUZUKI AVENIS

The Suzuki Avenis is a stylish and muscular scooter that features an aerodynamic design with bold lines and sporty accents. It is a lightweight and agile scooter that is suitable for urban commuting and city riding. The scooter is powered by a fuel-efficient 124cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that is designed to provide reliable and smooth performance.

We go further and discover the power of the Suzuki Avenis with the power of the newest highest octane rating fuel product of Cleanfuel.

POWERING THE RIDE

Cleanfuel’s latest premium high-octane gasoline provides our lady riders a cheaper alternative to the high price of the Research Octane Number (RON) of 97 in the Philippine market. However, most scooters and small engines have lower compression ratios and can operate efficiently with regular unleaded gasoline. But it will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and their overall environmental impact.

The drive to emit cleaner emission of the motorcycles empowers this lady group riders to give a message that this #SafeRideJourney – Avenis Women Month Ride is more than just riding.

THE DESTINATIONS

The first #StopOver is the Cleanfuel station adjacent to the Cleanfuel Motocross Park in Tagaytay Rd.,Silang, Cavite. This is one of the premium fuel stations that offer the Racing 97 high-octane fuel. As planned, this #SafeRideJourney with Avenis is also a preparation for the Visita Iglesia. Churches worth mentioning include the Pink Sisters Convent and Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church, Minor Basilica of St. Martin of Tours, and Simbahang Bato. And to make the group ride relaxed and be with nature, a closer visit to the shoreline of the  Taal lake made it happen. On any ride, a refreshing meal and posh cafe is worth a try. This is where Marj’s Cafe in Tagaytay comes in.

MARJ’S CAFE, TAGAYTAY

Everything about this cafe is fresh. Marj’s Cafe is a popular posh restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. As what we have mentioned – FRESH. Upon entering the restaurant you will be greeted with a floral wall and a fresh smell of a Garden Rose. The interior is well presented and is perfect for our lady riders. Simple yet elegant. It has wooden tables and chairs complementing the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.

In addition to its stunning location and delicious food, Marj’s Cafe is also known for its friendly and accommodating staff. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it the perfect spot for any time of day. Marj’s Cafe is also available for private events, such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.

Visit Marj’s Cafe in Aguinaldo Highway, Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City, Philippines to experience the unique dining experience that combines great food with breathtaking scenery.

So why are more and more women taking up riding? For some, it is the thrill and excitement of the open road. LADY RIDERS EMPOWERED BY AVENIS

Cesy “Motorerang Sexy” Manuel

A member of Iskambler family, Ms. Ces testifies that after learning the Basic Safety Riding at the #SafeRideExperience with Suzuki Safety Riding Authority, she joined the #SafeRideJourney with Avenis to apply everything she learned. She learned a lot about the ride she used and knew more about her co-lady riders. Since her personal bike has a manual transmission, she was surprised how easy it was to handle and maneuver the automatic scooter like Avenis. And with this ride, she quoted, “Wala sanang diskrimination sa pag momotor kahit babae o lalaki.”

Ahnïe “Annie Moto” Carïasa

First time to join a group ride is Ms. Ahnie, a member of Iskrambler family. She wants to test and experience the power and agility of the Suzuki Avenis. Surprisingly, Avenis exceeded her expectations. From its large under-seat compartment and large floorboards, she finds Avenis her next scooter to bring home. She was generally impressed with its responsive suspension and its ease in handling, especially in tight traffic situations. In addition, she was relaxed and impressed with the food and ambience offered by our host restaurant, Marj’s Cafe. She will definitely come back to try out other food offered on the menu. And perhaps going back riding her own Avenis.

Lary “Lakwatserang Motorista” Tupan

Ms. Lary loves to ride and was relaxed and fascinated with the destinations plotted. She was amazed with the natural landscape of the scenic view of the Taal lake and the rock formation of the Simbahang Bato in Batangas. WIth this ride she proves that riding makes women, just like men, destress and makes her happy. The smooth and planned ride adds in her enjoyment just like the Avenis, smooth and easy to ride. She recommends visiting the Marj’s Cafe on your next ride. It has a well-planned interior and the food is great. Her best experience so far.

A certified Tiktoker who loves to ride, Ms. Jaja joined #SafeRideJourney – Avenis Womens’ Month Ride to boost women empowerment as well as her interest to try riding the Suzuki Avenis. She loves how the suspension responds to every road condition. And also the combi-brake features that added safety and comfort on frequent use. She observed that after gassing up with Cleanfuel Race 97 fuel, the engine became smoother and sounded “power”. She attested that after climbing the steep highway of Ligaya Drive from Laurel to Tagaytay City.
