Wheeltek Celebrate 1 Big Event For 3 Big Brands

A ten year old dream finally came true as Wheeltek and Autohub closed the deal for Aprilia, Triumph, and Vespa dealerships.

Back then last March of 2012, the top officers of Wheeltek had a vision – a dream, to bring the brands of Vespa and Aprilia to the Philippine market, particularly to Cabanatuan – the hometown of Wheeltek. They set out pursuing that dream and paid a visit to the factory of Piaggio (who owns the two brands) in Hanoi, Vietnam. But despite all efforts, circumstances at that time just did not allow it to happen. The dream had to wait.

Moving forward to 2020, when Autohub became the distributor of the brands in the Philippines, the sleeping dream awoke. Wheeltek finally had the right partner to make it all happen. And it finally did. Wheeltek and Autohub closed the deal, signed the contracts and after 2 years of planning and building, the showroom doors of Vespa, Aprilia and Triumph finally opened on November 18, 2022 in the hometown of Wheeltek – Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

A ten year old dream, finally come true

The grand event had many things going for everyone to enjoy from morning till night. The morning started off with a test ride of all the brands around the secured and circuit designed parking lot for anyone interested. When the afternoon came along, DJ Bobby – a local talent and radio host, started the event proper by introducing the key persons who officially cut the ribbon to signify the opening of all the
stores.

Present from Wheeltek Group of Companies were Mr. Raymond Odulio – Vice President of Finance, Mr. Reynaldo Odulio, Jr. – Vice President of Operations, Mr. Roscoe Odulio – Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Paolo Gregorio – Store Manager of Vespa-Aprilia Cabanatuan, and Mr. Exodus Galang – Store Manager of Triumph Cabanatuan. And standing alongside them from Autohub Group were Mr. Willy Tee Ten – CEO & President, his lovely wife, Mrs. Owee Cruz – Vice President of Marketing & finally Mr. Sammy Montecastro – General Manager for Triumph Philippines, and Mr. Bimbo Fontanilla General Manager of Vespa Philippines.

The blessing of the showrooms and building promptly followed led by Father Orly Valino then a wonderful speech by Mr. Jet Rubi – , who spoke of his personal excitement over the 3 brands being finally available in Cabanatuan. Afterwards, Mr. Willy Tee Ten spoke about the ease of parts and services especially the northern Luzon customers – being that Cabanatuan was a key strategic location. Mr. Roscoe Odulio came on stage next and told the story of their Vespa-Aprilia dream come true. The formalities were capped off with the awarding of the Dealer Certificate to Wheeltek Group given by Autohub Group.

After a brief introduction of the Cabanatuan teams – Triumph, Vespa & Aprilia sales, service, admin and other staff, the first raffle was on the way followed by two performers to serenade the guests to a festive ambiance over a sumptuous dinner. Raffle prizes slowly went up in value in between band sets.

There were premium items by Triumph, Alpine Star jackets, & a few KYT helmets amounting to a whopping P80k+ total worth of prizes for the night. Adding to the already extravagant prizes were exhuberant (and highly entertaining) performances by some of the audience – coaxed by the band and a little alcohol, of course. The night ended with the grand prize awarding & over 200 smiling faces leaving
the parking lot.
