After its participation in the concluded #SafeRideExperience with the Suzuki Safety Riding Authority, Suzuki owners eagerly wait to activate another activity that will bring Raider owners to ride together. The wait is finally over. Last weekends’ ride was all about the Suzuki Raider Fi Econo Run. It is a long-distance ride designed to test the fuel efficiency of the Suzuki Raider Fi. It took place in Petron Vermosa to converge on the scenic premium beach resort of Terrazas De Punta Fuego located in Batangas.

The Suzuki Raider Econo Run is not just a competition; it is also an opportunity for riders to showcase their skills and to learn more about the capabilities of their motorcycles. The event involves riders traversing a predetermined route, which is carefully selected to simulate real-world riding conditions. The goal of the event is to achieve the best possible fuel efficiency while maintaining a reasonable pace.

The event is open to all Raider Club members, participated by clubs from the outskirts of Metro Manila such as Bulacan, Laguna, and Rizal areas. However, it is important to note that only Fuel-Injected (F1) motorcycles are allowed to participate in the competition. 76 Raider F1 owners totalled the participants and were ready to prove the Raider F1 fuel-efficiency.

This year’s first Econo Run with Suzuki Raider F1 took place in Terrazas De Punta Fuego, a beautiful beach resort located in Nasugbu Ternate Highway, Barangay Natipuan, Batangas. The route took the riders through scenic highway roads of Cavite traversing the twisty-mountain roads of Nasugbu-Ternate. This route is known for its breathtaking views of the sea and the longest road tunnel in the Philippines – Kaybiang Tunnel. It covers a distance of approximately 80 – 120 kilometers, with riders expected to complete the route.

The Suzuki Raider Econo Run is not just a competition; it is also a celebration of the motorcycle community in the Philippines.
