MHI Wins GREEN Award for Sustainability Efforts

MPCALA Holdings Inc. (MHI), the operator of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), was awarded GREEN Award for sustainability efforts in Santa Rosa

The Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) operator, MPCALA Holdings Inc. (MHI), has been awarded the GREEN Award by the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna for its outstanding contributions to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Commitment to eco-friendly practices

The GREEN Awards is an annual event that recognizes the efforts of individuals and organizations that are working to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. MHI was honored for its commitment to eco-friendly practices. This includes the use of solar panels at toll plazas, the introduction of barrierless entry to reduce vehicle emissions, and the establishment of biodiverse areas and tree planting along the expressway.

Including the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX). MHI is committed to making all of its tollways more sustainable. Furthermore, working to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and protect the environment.
