Mazda will do demonstration laps in Le Mans Classic

The iconic Mazda 787B will do thrilling laps commemorating the 30th anniversary of Mazda’s victory at Le Mans.

Mazda recently announced the Mazda 787B will do demonstration laps for the upcoming Le Mans Classic 2022. These thrilling laps will be on June 30 to July 03. This is in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Mazda’s victory at Le Mans.

The Mazda 787B is the 1991 Le Mans winner. And became the first Japanese automobile to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. It is equipped with a four-rotor rotary engine that is very distinct in its sound.

The legendary vehicle being at the 90th anniversary of the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2013. And the 20th anniversary of Mazda’s victory at Le Mans in 2011.

Le Mans Classic is a very popular event in which numerous famed racing cars. Famous cars such as Toyota Tom’s 85C, the Porche 962, the Jaguar XJR and the Peugeot 905, compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Its appearance every two years on the Circuit de la Sarthe cemented their names in history.
