KAJO: Bago maging Red Sweet Potato… SIno si Red?
RED: Way back 2009, Isa lang akong estudyante na nagtatrabaho. Sabi nga nila, uso yung woring student that time, para masupportahan ang sarili ko habang ako ay nag-aaral. Doon ko naisip kumuha ng motorcycle para sa daily service kasi mahirap magcommute eh.
KAJO: Ano una mong motor?
RED: Ang una kong motor na hindi ko makakalimutan ay yung Kawasaki Fury R, hulugan.
KAJO: Natapus mo naman ba yung hulog?
RED: Unfortunately, nung nagtatrabaho ako tapus nag-aaral ako sa umaga… tapus nag-o-OJT ako sa hapon at trabaho sa gabi, hindi ko napagsaby-sabay, kinapus din ako budget. Hindi ko nahulugan. Hinatak ni ano… basta, wala na ung motor ko.
KAJO: Gaano katagal bago ka nakabalik sa pagmomotor?
RED: After a few months nagipon ako… naka-focus pa din ako magkaroon ng motor pero hindi na brand new. Kumuha na ako ng second hand na motor… mas mura. Yun yung Kawasaki ZX 130.
KAJO: Ilang motor na ba ang duamaan sayo?
RED: Mula noon hanggang ngayun, marami na ding motor ang dumaan sa akin. Siguro mga 300 to 400… mga ganun.
KAJO: Bago ka nag RED SWEET POTATO, magVLOG, ano muna yung ginagawa mo?
RED: Bago ako magVlog, ang business talaga namin ni “LIMITTER” or ni Ema, nagba-buy and sell kami ng mga scooters. Kotse pagka may budget.
KAJO: Kadalasan sa mga Vloggers may viral videos na lumabas bago magkaroon ng marami followers. Ano ba yung video na naaalala mo na nag-viral?
RED: Based on the record ng YouTube channel ko, yung unang video na nag-viral, yung review ko… yung comparison ng Yamaha NMax sa ibang category na brand. Nag 1-Million views sya.
KAJO: So ngayun, ilan na ang followers mo sa YouTube?
RED: Currently meron ako 488-Thousand subscribers, road to 500-Thousand.
KAJO: Ano pagkakaiba ngayun na marami kang followers… ano pakiramdam?
RED: Very overwhelmed. Kahit saana ko magpunta na may nakakakilala sa akin, feeling ko artista ako eh. Pero at the same time nakaka takot din. Nakikita nila bawat galaw ko sa YouTube videos kung asan ba si Red ngayung araw. Kung asan ba sya bukas or sa susunod na event.
