ABOUT PACS
The Philippine Autocross Championship Series (PACS) started out in 2000 to respond to the clamor of small car clubs for a safe and accessible motorsports event. This led to pocket “Autocross” events several times a year all over Metro Manila. We officially became the “Philippine Autocross Championship Series” in 2008, proudly becoming the only truly national motorsports event in the Philippines. Drivers in the provinces enjoyed the localized autocross events, which served as training grounds for the first Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao Championships in 2009.
The regional champions of Visayas and Mindanao won an all-expense-paid trip to Manila to vie for the National Title – Philippine Autocross Champion. By the end of 2022, PACS has directly served over 20,000 drivers from all walks of life and has enlightened countless drivers, young and old, to a safer and more enjoyable life on the road and a once-in-a-lifetime “adrenaline rush” that had been just a dream for many drivers.
In 2023, Sam Santiago-Escalante was named PACS Race Director following the passing of her father, racing legend Danilo “Danny” Santiago.
